Fall - date to be announced!

THE BLOCK downtown street party on Saturday, September 17, 2016 was a night to remember! Cabot Street was rocking with great music, food and drink, and best of all – thousands of people gathered to enjoy the end of summer together.

THE BLOCK was made possible by our generous sponsors Institution for Savings, North Shore Bank, Endicott College, Beverly Hospital, Beverly Bank, Beverly Crossing, Dunkin' Donuts, Goldberg Properties, Salem Five, Windover Construction, the City of Beverly, Bonaloop and Salerno's Italian Eatery. Friends of THE BLOCK included Coastal Windows & Exteriors, Flush and TD Bank. In-kind sponsors included Archer Insurance, Ayers Ryal Side Elementary School, Beverly Emergency Management Agency, Beverly Waste Reduction Committee, Headroom Sound, Montserrat College of Art and Ward's Florist. We would also like to thank everyone who made a donation at the gate.

Thank you to our fellow committee members Dan Brosnan, Sandra Griffel, Amy O’Connell, Jan Preston, Matt Schmidt and Rhonda Wallace who planned THE BLOCK and spent hours making sure the event would run smoothly. Thanks also to our event volunteers Brendan Chan, Julia Campbell, Mary Grant, Renee Gannon, Amanda Hynes, Suzie LaMont, Molly McCabe, David O'Gorman, Nancy Putnam and Stephen Song, and the team from Bonaloop who helped with everything from set up to clean up. Charlie Perlo  and Connie Krueger, members of the Beverly Waste Reduction Committee and Cynthea Michaels, member of the City of Beverly Beautification Team, volunteered to collect recycling during THE BLOCK.

Thank you to Chin Friction, Legacy and The Jaguar Club who performed live for enthusiastic crowd at the Pond St stage. DJ Joshua Melanson kept the party music going at the Federal St stage, along with two fantastic a cappella performances by The Eight Tracks.

We would also like to thank the downtown restaurants who were a part of THE BLOCK including A&B Burgers, Atomic Café, Flour(ish) Bake Shoppe, Joe's on a Roll, Kame, La Victoria Taqueria and Soma. Salerno's Italian Eatery provided a selection of craft beer, wine and sangria.

Finally, thank you to Mayor Michael P. Cahill and the City of Beverly, including the Beverly Police Department, the Beverly Public Services Department and the Beverly Emergency Management Agency.
