Viet Nam Memorial Plaza at One Ellis Square (aka "Ellis Square")

We are no longer selling bricks for the Plaza.

Thank you to everyone who purchased a brick - construction will be completed in late spring 2017. The new Veterans Memorial will be installed in late 2017 or 2018.

The Viet Nam Memorial Plaza at One Ellis Square (also known as "Ellis Square") is located at the intersection of Cabot and Church streets and is the only public space in the downtown section of Cabot Street. In 2014, the Beverly Community Preservation Committee awarded the project a grant for $177,000 and Beverly Main Streets raised the remaining $100,000 through the sale of bricks and granite benches. Major sponsors include Beverly Rotary Club, Beverly Bank, Endicott College, Beverly Crossing, Eastern Bank, North Shore YMCA, Goldberg Properties and the North Shore Association of Realtors.

We’re working with the City, neighbors, veterans and volunteers to upgrade the Plaza with a new Vietnam Veterans memorial, landscaping, seating and performance spaces for the community to enjoy!

Here's a look at our plans for the new Plaza:
