Forget the malls, the crowds and giving the same gift everyone else is giving.  Shop downtown first!

To make your experience a pleasant one, here's a map of downtown as well as some info about parking.

General Parking Info:

City lots:  There are several city lots in the downtown area as well as meters available on the streets.  Look for the P on the map below to see where the city lots are.

The two city lots on Pond Street behind Brown's Bicycles are free all the time!

Meters run from 9am - 6pm, Monday thru Saturday.  All of our meters take quarters only.  We have 15-minute meters, 1-hour meters, 2-hour meters and 12-hour meters so check your meter carefully.  The 12-hour meters have yellow tops but the others have no distinguishing marks to tell a 15-minute meter from any other meter.

Employees of downtown businesses are encouraged to park in a 12-hour meter.  We ask employees not to park on the street and feed the meter.  We need those spots for customers!

Commuters are not allowed to park at any meter except a 12-hour meter.  If you do park at another meter, you will get at least one ticket and maybe more if you park at a 2-hour meter for an extended time.

Our meter enforcement team is diligent, as they should be.  Bring your quarters!
